Little Emma

Baby Emma has grown up to be such a sweet little girl! She has the most enviable head of curls and a smile that won’t quit. She’s walking like a real pro, curious about everything and fearless about nothing. When we took a walk out back today she was in her element-it was hard to keep up with her! What a terrific way to spend the afternoon–and it was great to see Jackie, Becky and Mike again. Thank you all!img_0838.jpgimg_0817.jpg

New Life

Is there anything more exciting than the waiting for a new baby? Especially the first?

Love you, little man

B and P will be having a little boy brighten their world in October and had a maternity session the other day. P was as into it as the mom-to-be and they will make great parents. It’s a lucky little guy who will be joining their family.

And I don’t know if a woman ever looks beautiful but during the wait.

Senior Year of High school

img_3820.jpg

is so memorable, and April will no doubt have the best year of her life.

It’s just so much fun to do senior portraits, each young adult has a vibrancy and a unique style.

April is no different, and I look forward to doing more sessions with her–and I promise our next session will have NO flying insects :)

Some images just demand some funky processing–and this one looks great at 16×20!

Hope you had as much fun as I did!

Thank you!

Happy 50th B-day!

Dr Joan Teno and her niece Joan came up from Providence for some ‘formally informal’ studio work celebraing Joan’s ‘big’ Birthday. 50 is the new 30, or so I’ve been told.Dr Joan works in hospice and pallative care patience world wide; you might have heard and read about her feline, Oscar the Cat who patrols the nursing home and enters the room of those patiences who are terminally in, and helps them cross over. I think Oscar is there doing his own pallative care for the familes that are left behind.

Joan is a Labrador lover; she brought Java and the new puppy Moki as well as Gabi, a blind Lab. My poor puppy Bailey was crated for the session since she is still pretty rambuncious and I have a particular fondness for expensive lighting :)

Happy Birthday Joan, and good luck Joan in college and your year abroad.
