Hannah had her senior portrait session with Jen the other day–and my apologies for the delay in posting. A quick neccesary out of town trip and a few appointments are the reason for the delay in getting this up.
What fun we had! It’s great to do seniors together as it helps get everyone at ease, quickly; the laughing is real and the extra pair of eyes to make sure all is well is a great confidence builder.
After looking at a few of Hannah’s own photographs I was honored to be chosen to do their portraits–I believe Hannah has a real gift and should persue some advanced schooling to really master her craft. I’m looking forward to both working with her as a test guinea pig
and having her attend the Quinebaug Valley Camera Club to show off her stuff.
This is not a typical senior portrait! It was a happy accident when I pressed the shutter while I was moving around the swing set; it just struck me that I wanted to know what she was thinking about–and just couldn’t let it go. Normally these wouldn’t even make the cut–but I love it
Hannah’s shoes that were worn to the nibs as a child. I confess to getting a little chill working on these–a fabulous reminder of her childhood, as she enters adulthood!
So this might be a little more normal– how lovely both girl are!
Thank you guys! It was really a pleasure to work and hang with you for a couple hours. All the best for a fantastic Senior year at Marianapolis!
