Sharon and Ryan had a beautiful day at the Overlook for their wedding with both families and their friends enjoying everything this unique and beautiful venue has to offer.
Began the day at the Heavitree B&B with the girls getting ready-and were ahead of time! This B&B is the PERFECT spot for preps if you are having your wedding at the Overlook. Located just below the Overlook, it's a short ride up the hill. (I want to live in this perfectly appointed old farm house. And I'll be back to really check out the Pub! Talk to Charlotte who is the perfect inn keeper.)
The guys came up for some formals with Norm, and to get ready for the First Look.
So many reasons why a 'first look' is a good idea.
Takes some stress off nerves, allows for the wedding party and family to enjoy the reception without being rushed for the 'formals', and some alone time before the festivities. The day goes by so fast!
The ceremony was poignant and personal with an old friend performing the ceremony and readings by their honor attendants.
And then onto the Party!
Catering by Matthews-always so professional, good humored and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!
One of my favorite times of the day--the first dances. So much love.
So much love! All day.
The Overlook offers so much for people who want an outdoor location while still having modern conveniences. Family and friends laughing all day/night whether dancing under the tent, sitting by the firepit roasting marshmallows, or having a quiet moment, enjoying the view.
A big thanks to Sharon and Ryan and your wedding party-everyone really co-operative and then taking things in their own hand. We had a blast with you guys!
Thanks again to Norm-always with a creative eye, and willing to go above and beyond.
We both wish you a lifetime of happiness.
Show the kids some love, below.
